Started his career in State Bank of Travancore as an Asst. Manager in 1985 and headed many branches. He had also served as the Chief Manager (Training) in Staff Learning Centre of SBT at Trivandrum. Following a VRS from SBT in 2006 after a service of 21 years he entered into academics. He served in academics for three years before joining Kottayam Co-operative Urban Bank as its General Manager and CEO. Later, he joined Saintgits Institute of Management, Kottayam as Associate Professor. Here, he was also the coordinator for the Centre for Financial Services and conducted regular Management Development Program for Bank officials and Entrepreneurs and trains youngsters on “English Speaking Formula” and on “Investment Mantra for Youngsters.”
